Festivals and Events in Poland

  Easter Hi everyone!  Today, I would like to tell about Easter. People usually meet with their family and paint Easter eggs on Saturday. After that they go to the church to sarifice food. In the Easter we eat breakfast and dinner together. Very early on Sunday is Mass. On this day kids look for Easter eggs and they get presents. I always spend half day in my hause and half with my grandparents on Easter. In the next year  maybe I'll see with my cousins. Because my uncle and aunt said that they would  come to my grandparents. XYZ

Hi guys May holidays took place a week ago. in Poland, these are May 1, 2 and 3. they are national holidays of labor, flag and constitution, respectively. These days of the year are days off from work and school. A lot of people are leaving at that time. This year I went with my parents to a house by the lake. we used to kayak on the lake with the whole family.  In a year's time I would like to come to the lake again but take my friends with me

Hi guys  I just got back from my cousin Ania's wedding.  Ania looked amazing.  She was dressed in a long white gown beautifully decorated, wore a pink wreath of faux roses, and was combed in French braids with white semi-transparent ribbons.   I was a bridesmaid and I was dressed in a light spring dress matched to the color of the flowers in the bride's wreath.   The whole wedding was about flowers.  The wedding made a great impression on me, the first dance was beautiful and the food was delicious.  After the wedding, it was a pity to come home.

Hi guys.  Yesterday was Children's Day in Poland.  It is the day when parents fulfill their children's wishes This year I went for ice cream with my parents and my sister.  I took the chocolate ice cream and my sister the caramel ice cream. Next year I am going to go with my parents to the Zoo in Wrocław.  I've always dreamed of seeing a real giraffe!

 Hello everyone! In today's blog, I'd like to tell you how me and my mom spend Mother's Day in our country! As you know, I live in Poland and we celebrate Mother's Day on May 26th. On this day children give to their mothers gifts or flowers. This year i gave my mom a lot of red roses. She looked very happy. Next year I plan to give her something special, but it's a secret. 🤫

Hello everyone! I want to tell you something about May Days in our country. The first three days of May are called "May Days" by Polish people. In Poland, people usually have barbecue with their friends at this time. Most of people spend time outside, if the weather is good. This year, me and my mother decided to ride a bike. We went to the sea. We had a lot of fun. On the second day, we went with our friends to the cafeteria. Those days were really amazing. Next year, I'm going to "Energyladnia". It's a big amusement park in Zator. I'm very excited and I can't wait for it. I hope that it will be as good as I think. How about your May Days? 😉

 So, I have moved to a new school ! The first day at school was awsome ! I thought it would be stressful, but it was rally fine. I met there so many nice people. Everyone was friendly too. The thing I enjoyed most in the new school was cafeteria. In my old school I didn't have one. It's nice because I can eat my lunch there. In two weeks we are going to start winter holidays and we have some plans. I'm going skiing with my whole family. I will be In Austria for the first time and I'm so excited about It.  Hi everyone, I want to tell you how I spend Halloween. People in Poland usually don’t celebrate it at all. Especially in small towns like mine. On the other hand I enjoy it so much. I really like dressing up and doing my makeup.  Last year I was Freddie Mercury from that famous band - Queen. That night I was alone at home and I was listening to music.  This year I have bigger plans. I will throw a big party for all my friends. Everyone will dress up as people from different decades. I will be a dancer from the ‘80. It will be awesome.  Do you celebrate Halloween? If you do, so how and what are your plans for this year?

 Hi everyone, I want to tell you how I spend 1st of June which is Children’s Day. Parents in Poland usually get their kids some small gifts or buy them ice-cream.  This year my teacher took the whole class on a trip to Gdańsk. We got there by train and went to some museums. We also went sightseeing and bought some souvenirs. It was the best day of my life.  Next year I will spend this day with my younger sister Zuzia. We will go to the swimming pool and we will get the best ice-cream in town.  How was your Children’s Day?☺

Hello, thank you for visiting my blog. I would like to tell you how I spend Mother’s day in Poland. We usually celebrate this day by spending time with our mother. Inviting her to dinner at a restaurant, or buying a gift. This year my mother's day was a bit different because my brother and I decided to take my mother to the spa. When she found out she was very happy!   Next year my brother and I are going to buy her dream gift. I hope that everything will be successful and that my mother will be always happy.  

Hi everyone!  Welcome on my blog today is Christmas Eve. We usually have 10 dishes on table. Every year we put hay under the tablecloth. My family never sings Christmas songs. On our table must be smoked fish. According to tradition should be 12 dishes on the table, the hay should be put under the tablecloth. Before sit down at the table you should sing Christmas songs. In the next Christmas Eve we will spend 2 hours at my home and then we will go to my grandparents' house for 4-5 hours where my aunt and uncle will be.

  Hello everyone! Today I will tell you about how I celebrate Easter.  Easter is a Christian holiday where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Easter Sunday people go to church to pray and think about the death of Jesus on the cross. When it comes to me on Holy Saturday I go to church to bless food. After that, I, with my family, drive to Sarbinowo to take a refreshing stroll near the sea. Afterwards, we go to the restaurant for a festive dinner. The next day we eat the food we blessed the day before. Next year we want to spend more time with our family. I plan on going to my cousins in England. Let me know how you guys spend your Easter.   Hi everyone! I am going to tell you how we spend Valentine's day in Poland. Valentine's day is a holiday celebrated in honour of Saint Valentine on the 14 of February. First people give presents - flowers or chocolate to their partner. Then they go on a date to a cinema or restaurant.  I usually don't do anything special on Valentine's Day but last year I went to Jarosławiec with my family. I went on a stroll on a beach. Next year I plan to go somewhere with my parents. I have a lot of cousins in England so I might go to visit them. Let me know what you do on Valentine's Day.  New blogposts coming soon! XYZ

 Hi everyone! I want to tell you about my Easter traditions. I live in Poland and we celebrate this festivity with family here. One day before painting eggs and we also go to the church to sacrifice them and other food. We together eat breakfast and dinner. In Easter morning adults go to the church for early mass. On that day kids in Poland  look for chocolate eggs and they also get  presents. One day after we have got a Wet Monday, this is very funny  day. People are doused with water. Dear Jacob, Tommorow is Christmas and I have never told you how I celebrate it. Every Christmas Eve morning I get up early to help my mum with dinner. This meal is very special and we eat it with our family. We always serve traditional dishes. After eating, we wait for the first star in the sky. When the star appears, children can open gifts from Santa Claus. After unwrapping the persents, we always sing Christmas carols. How do you usualy celebrate Christmas in your country?  Hello everyone! I’m writing this post to tell you about festival of colors in Poland. This event usually takes place in spring and summer. Lots of people come with coloured powders. When the countdown is over, everything becomes colourful! I haven't been to this festival yet but I really want to! My friends have been there many times and they told me that it had been amazing! But you have to be careful:  very easy to get yourself dirty ! So you shouldn't wear your favourite clothes. But  I still hope to go there this year! That’s all for today.  Hi everyone! Today, I would like to write about my Christmas Eve in Poland. It is celebrated on December 24. During this day everybody sits down at the table and eats christmas dishes. People sing carols and wish all the best to each other. Every year on Christmas Eve I and my family decorate Christmas tree and prepare food. We make a carp, beet soup and a poppyseed cake. I always wait for Santa Claus and presents. Next year I am going to visit my grandparents on Christmas. It obligatory to make a barbecue.  I, my parents and my dog went for a walk to the lake. We also made a barbecue which was delicious. I plan to go to the Lake next year with my friends.
